2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. Georgia native, he started his career in hip hop with Playaz Circle, which he created with a high school buddy. The group's debut album, 'Supply & Demand It was not a huge success. Epps his second album, 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was a huge hit and debuted at the top spot on the US Billboard 200. It was an enormous success and sold 147,000 copies within its first week! After the release of his album it was impossible to go back. He rose to fame as one of America's most well-known hip-hop artists. He has been nominated in six Grammy categories, of which one was won by "No Problem." When he was discovered to be with promethazine and marijuana and was arrested on board a plane leaving Los Angeles International Airport in 2013. His brush with law has not affected his popularity. The fourth and newest studio album, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was came out in June of 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story, 2 Chainz' debut studio album, can be considered his first major work and his most successful. The album was an enormous hit and reached the first place on the US Billboard 200. In only one week, the album sold 147,000 copies. It sold 623,000 copies over the period of the year. The album had smash singles like "No Lie" and 'Birthday Song. I'm Different was nominated for the 55th Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. The reviews were mixed. 2 Chainz got married to Kesha Ward on March 31, 2013. The couple has three kids: Heaven, Harmony and Halo. He has a long and successful career, but is known for his penchant for getting into trouble with the law. He has been arrested many times for drug possession.
